There was a minor upset when Latvian Ridzene was crushed at home by Ukrainian VSC 68-27 on Sunday. VSC held Ridzene to an opponent 20.8 percent shooting from the field compared to 38.5 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Ridzene 46-23 including a 32-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. stepped up and scored 21 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and chipped in 8 points and 14 rebounds. At the losing side Madlena Perse responded with 4 points and 8 rebounds and Zane Straudovska scored 6 points and 7 rebounds.
